“Serving up some inspiringly well-made acoustic versions of four songs from their debut album, The Mojo Fins give us Live At The Red Room. It sparkles and it shines, with an orchestration that’s rarely heard when you steal all the noisy stuff from a band. ‘Final Correspondence’ sets the scene with the guitars creating a folky feel to the indie brightness. The vocal feels incredibly close and warm, which does high credit to the melody. Piano and bongos add the swaying pace to ‘Trick of Light’, which is even more plaintive in this format. ‘Always Now’ sounds even more akin to Passenger in it’s raw acoustic format and ‘Say Something’ glitters like dazzling sunlight off a window.
The Mojo Fins are a band of deep complexity, but that doesn’t stop the songs from being entirely absorbing, in fact their all the more beautiful for it.” - The-Mag 4.5 out of 5.
